Canada Post Implements TimeLink Wireless Solution for Delivering Accurate Payroll

Larchmont, NY - May 6, 2002 - Time Link International, Corp., a leading provider of workforce management and data collection solutions, today announced the success of their implementation at Canada Post Corporation, Canada's postal service. Leveraging extensive SAP interface experience with solutions including mySAP® Human Resources (mySAP™ HR) and SAP Cross-Application Timesheets (CATS), TimeLink has implemented a wireless data collection and integration solution for over 12,000 employees at Canada Post.

The Canada Post Corporation delivers about 9 billion pieces of mail to nearly 13 million Canadian addresses each year. At each of their mail-processing facilities located across 24 sites and 5 time zones, TimeLink's Synapps™ solution provides a technology platform to automate the collection of time and labor data. After a rigorous research process, they selected TimeLink's Synapps solution to reduce manual errors, collect critical labor costing information across the enterprise, and increase employee satisfaction with employee self-service.

The Synapps implementation encompasses an enterprise-wide rollout including wireless RF-based (radio-frequency based) data collection and integration. The solution serves as a digital data path as it sends employee data from 231 wireless devices and integrates it with SAP HR in real-time. The solution currently handles 100,000 transactions daily for its 12,000 mail-processing employees, but has been scaled to handle transactions for as many as 30,000 employees in the future.
